Glenn is a respected, independent financial leader and qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience across a wide range of industry sectors.
Having lead finance teams for multi-national companies, Glenn has developed expertise in profit generation and maximisation, tax, business acquisition, business sales, and business development.
While participating at board level for external organisations, Glenn is also an integral part of many client’s boards and executive teams providing financial insight from real life experience and commercial acumen.
Darryl joined BBR as an Associate in 2018.
Prior to working in public practice, Darryl held senior finance roles in global organisations covering sectors such as industrial chemicals, publishing, recruitment, telecommunications, FMCG and franchising.
Franchising provided Darryl with the opportunity to work directly with business owners where he could share his extensive commercial experience using his practical, down-to-earth approach.
Inspired by this, Darryl moved into public practice to share his knowledge with more business owners to help them achieve their financial goals.
Darryl has a keen interest in all aspects of taxation and specialises in providing tax planning and structuring advice to small and medium businesses.
Outside of work Darryl enjoys the gym, spending time at the beach and supporting his children with their sporting activities.
Tessa joined the BBR team in 2024 and leads the firm’s Client Accounting Services team, where she is known for her approachable and personable style in building strong, trusted client relationships.
Tessa has held senior finance roles across a diverse range of industries, including advertising, design, retail, and events. She brings exceptional value to clients of all sizes by not only managing their ongoing accounting needs, but also by acting as a key link between internal finance teams and external accountants. Tessa is passionate about building efficient financial processes and developing integrated reporting that clearly communicates results, and she enjoys educating and upskilling both financial and non-financial stakeholders within client organisations.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Tessa has broad accounting experience with a strong focus on management accounting.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Tessa on the hunt for new coffee spots, out for a walk with her family, or hanging out at her husband’s boxing gym.
Shalini joined BBR as a Senior Accountant in 2020.
Shalini has close to 15 years experience in Public Practice in New Zealand, having worked in leading mid-tier Chartered Accounting firms in Auckland.
Heading up the business advisory team, Shalini ensures the team communicate professionally when liaising with clients, form strong connections based on trust and most importantly ensure we understand what our clients do and how we can help in the most efficient and effective way.
Shalini is committed to providing a standard of service that exceeds client expectations is client focused with a passionate commitment to ensure clients receive exceptional service and positive financial and tax outcomes. She has vast experience in understanding what clients require, preparation of financial statements and tax. Her experience ranges from small family owned businesses, to larger corporations in varying industries.
Outside of work, Shalini enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and has a passion for cake decorating.
